Expression and control
CC120 immediately silences the channel. For an ordinary musical release, use the matching Note Off.
All sound off uses CC120. Write the example values 0 on the controller lane of the target channel.
The controller is sent on a channel. Hearing a change requires the receiver to implement that CC function. Check its MIDI implementation chart.
