Expression and control
Set the channel balance with CC7 and shape phrases with CC11.
Channel volume uses CC7. Write the example values 100 → 80 on the controller lane of the target channel.
The controller is sent on a channel. Hearing a change requires the receiver to implement that CC function. Check its MIDI implementation chart.
